I like what you are up to.
I had a Jersey steer a couple of years ago that I could ride. I never put a saddle on him and I never actually steered him. I would just climb on and Beauregard would give me a ride around the pasture.
Unfortunately, Ole Beau stabbed a couple of my horses with his tines and he had to go.
