Another Steed in the Stable

Last night I picked up this beauty for the princely sum of $200:
It has a good transmission in it which will go nicely in our other metro (whose transmission is totally crapped out - ironic since it has a freshly rebuilt engine.) Since we bought that metro in April of 08, we have spent about $1,000 in repairing it (not including any labor) and it has been "broke down" for probably 75% of that time. Not zactly a real success story....yet.

what do you plan to do with the "new" metro after using the parts for the other one???

metros have definitely let me down this last year. This new one better solve all our problems, and bring in some much needed cash!!

Wendy, what people don't want to buy in pieces/parts will bring $4.00 per 100 lbs at the recycling yard - my own version of cash for clunkers :)

It's official!

By the way, this is the classic "redneck twofer" If I were to try to sell the cars, I would advertise them as take the two and make one good running car!
